Pleasantly surprised by this shell. 12g 1oz #7.5 1150fps. Shot this shell alternating with Fiocchi Shooting Dynamics 1oz #7.5 1170fps to compare. Feels very similar. No recoil. Breaks tournament tough clays on the sporting clays course at long distances without a problem. Patterns similar to the Fiocchi. Very clean! I would’ve easily given it 4 Stars if it wasn’t for some occasional and very disrupting sparks out of the barrels on my 2nd day shooting these shells. When it happened on the 2nd shot it wasn’t a big deal. But when it happens on the 1st shot it can be very disturbing, Especially on Simo pairs. It only happened about 8 shots out of the 100. But it was distracting enough that it cost me at least 1 and possibly 2 simo pairs! But at the price, it’s a good practice shell with speed and feel very similar to the B&P Competition One 1160fps Shells that I use for Competitions

If your recoil sensitive, Try These! If your Not recoil sensitive, Try Them Anyway! I was intrigued by these but couldn’t find much for current reviews. Decided to take one for the team and order a flat and try them out.
Ordered the Challenger First Class 12g #7.5, 1oz, 1150fps. Just under $58 per flat. Patterned nicely at 20yds. Went for a round of practice at the sporting clays course with 2 boxes of these and 2 boxes of the comparable spec Fiocchi Shooting Dynamics at 1170fps to see how these stacked up. Honestly, when I shot 2 of 1 she’ll and then 2 of the other, I could not tell a difference. It wasn’t until I put a Fiocchi in 1 barrel and a Challenger in the other that I felt a difference. The difference was that the Challenger had less felt recoil. I’m not recoil sensitive. But if you are, this is the shell you want to try! There’s some really long shots on the Orange Expert course at Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays and these shells shattered them with No Problem when I did my part! The other plus is These Shells Are Clean!! I’m sure some shooters will want to know about Reloading? That I can’t tell you. I don’t have time for that! And at about .22 cents per she’ll to buy a flat of these. It would cost me more than that to reload!
I’m not trying to say these are a top tier shell like B&P’s. But for the price, these blue things are hard to beat!! I’ll save my cases of $75+ per flat B&Ps for tournaments, and I’ll shoot these for weekly practice and save a lot of money!
