I'm awaiting word from Customer Service regarding this item. I so far have been unable to "hold my mouth the right way" and make this die worked as touted. While I can feel resistance as the case is pushed thru the sizer, net result case still will not fit shell holder plate on my Dillon 550. I'm hoping this one was cut or reamed a little to much during manufacturing and it got past QC Final. If I can get on to work, I'll sing your praises from the top of the mountain. More to follow I hope

Don't let the fact that this is the only option for what it is dissuade you. This set is as simple as a Lee Bulge Buster Case Kit.. In fact after Contacting Lee I have come to find out that's basically exactly what it is. "LG Outdoors has ordered Lee custom bullet sizing kits from Lee that it markets as a case through sizing kit for 223/556 cases." If you are not familiar with the Lee Bulge Buster Kits check out Lee Precision's website or watch some videos on Youtube. The description and setup of this kit is very straight forward. As far as the use and ability of it.. I recently processed 10k+ .223/5.56 cases and let me tell you Although the Price is High for what it is.. It has paid for itself in Saved Brass and any headaches associated with stuck or improperly sized cases. My process is as follows: Deprime, SSM Tumble, Swage using an RCBS Swage Combo 2 (Using a Hardened Steel Rod Purchased off of EBay and a Mighty Armory Small Swage Nipple both are far superior to RCBS`, I swage both Commercial and Military Brass as Might Armory's product makes for a very uniform primer pocket and doesn't get Caught/Jammed up like RCBS`, Lube up cases using 6.5 Guys Lanolin Recipe (if you don't know it look it up), Then upon resizing if a case has any problem fitting in the shell holder I run it through the LG/LEE Case head sizer and size again, sometimes multiple passes are required, I use two presses sided by side and it turns into a beautifully orchestrated juggling act, after the case passes the shell holder fit and is sized Lube is removed, Each case is hand checked with a case gauge, trimmed to size on a drill press mounted Holub Machine "WCT", and finally SSM tumbled again. This product is the only one of its kind, for the purpose it serves it's flawless. It will pay for itself in 10k pieces, I ran roughly 1k though it. Sometimes I wonder if the swaging process expands the case head or if it is just loose chamber tolerances of guns that fired it.. Not one headstamp or commercial/military was prone to require it in my experience. YMMV. All in All Great Product, Innovative Company for having it made, Saves you money/frustration, and Being made by Lee will last you a Lifetime. The cost is HIGH in my Book but who knows what it cost to have custom dies made? If you are considering or finding you might need this just go ahead and get it. Another Huge plus is if you order part number BB1853 from LEE, and have there Pistol Caliber Die Sets, you just use there Factory Crimp Die and You have a LEE Bulge Buster kit for .40/10, .45, and using the right Crimp 9mm. :)
Thank you LG, I'm glad I found your product.. If you could come down on the price a little and advertise that such a tool exists I bet you'd sell a boatload. Happy & Safe Reloading
